Turtilian [Really Good Recordings/Thought Render] x Conscious Wave - Guest Mix

Pushing forward on the guest mix series comes one of Montreal's most proficient underground music producers and DJs Turtilian. Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Allan Hanley, in just over two years (in MTL), has made numerous impressive appearances behind the decks in many corners of the city's eclectic musical communities with MTL's Bassix Production, Bass Drive Wednesdays with Vilify, Piknic Electronik, Asylum, Big Tooth, MWTB, Hardtimes, LFOs.tv, opening as well for Conscious Wave's second live event Tribal Bass: Episode 2 with Anthologic [Phantom Hertz/M.U.D/BadMon Radio]. A veteran behind the decks, Turtilian's flawless mixing techniques and unique, high-energy stage presence make for a very polished, impressive and captivating live performance. Although more recently producing varying shades of 140bpm bass driven electronic music, Allan's musical ventures since 2003 have taken him through multiple, contrasting genres such as 2-step, garage, breaks, juke, footwork, jungle, grime, house and techno and have landed him gigs as an opener for Biome, N-Type, Truth, Joe Nice and Datsik to name just a few.

 With original productions already signed by Matt The Alien's imprint Really Good Recordings, Thought Render, Monkey Dub, In Da Jungle Recordings and Phantohms, Turtilian continues to prove his skills and potential to becoming an important name in Canada's national underground music world and to further establishing Canada in the global community.
